Side Hustle designed the Vertis North branch of G-Shock that resembles the winning design of the National G-Shock Watch contest that depicts the life and spirit of Filipinos and the aesthetic of Casio watch, in particular, the G-Shock series. The watch is the representation of the toughness of the G-Shock watches of Casio and the capabilities of Filipino people to bounce back no matter how big the problems are.

The colorful weaving patterns plus the elements of the Philippine flag abide by three concepts called “Triple 10” which are the 10-meter fall endurance, 10-bar water resistance and 10-year battery life. It is only fitting that the design depicts the same characteristics as well as showing Filipino pride.
